Holly Higginson has taken over as Firm President. Holly is a Senior, graduating in December 2009 pursuing a BS in Communications with a Public Relations and Advertising emphasis and a Management Minor. Holly is the Public Relations Assistant at the Grand Rapids Art Museum and hopes to continue her career there after graduation.

Kristen Wood has been appointed as Firm Director. Kristen is beginning her Senior year at Grand Valley. She plans on graduating this spring with a BS in Communications with a Public Relations emphasis and a General Business Minor. She spent this past summer as a Marketing Communications Intern at American Seating.

As a team, Holly and Kristen are excited to recruit more student members, promote Grand PR  and continue to find new oppertunities and clients to collaborate with.

Doug Clements, Firm Director will be in Lansing doing an internship at the capital. Quixtar is lucky to have two Grand PR members as interns this summer - Account Executive Tamara Lavati will be fulfilling an event planning internship and Firm President Charlotte Sasinowski will be continuing a PR internship. Account Executive Mackenzie Patton will be fulfilling an internship with GVSU’s athletic department and Josie Goldberg will be interning at GVSU’s Health and Wellness office after studying abroad. Amy Sawade recently accepted the Public Relations Specialist position at Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park.
